Tatum's 37 Points Lead Celtics to Victory over Mavericks

Jayson Tatum had a huge night for the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, scoring 37 points and grabbing 13 rebounds to lead his team to a 125-112 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.
Tatum was efficient from the field, shooting 14-of-27, and he also hit 3-of-8 from three-point range. He was also perfect from the free throw line, making all six of his attempts.
The Celtics controlled the game from the start, leading by double digits for most of the night. They shot 52.4% from the field and 38.5% from three-point range, while the Mavericks shot just 40.8% from the field and 27.3% from three-point range.
In addition to Tatum's big night, Jaylen Brown added 25 points for the Celtics, and Marcus Smart added 23 points and 10 assists.
Luka Dončić led the Mavericks with 23 points, but he was inefficient from the field, shooting just 8-of-24. Spencer Dinwiddie added 20 points for the Mavericks, and Christian Wood added 19 points.
The Celtics improved to 16-5 with the win, while the Mavericks fell to 11-9.
